A mailbox on your own domain.
Business email & hosting
We configure business email, DNS, SSL and hosting. Before a move we review existing records and backups, then agree migration and rollback plans.
Email, DNS, SSL, hosting and moving a site all sit next to other things that already work on the same domain. A change can knock over a service that was fine yesterday. The first job is to see what is there.
DNS
Where the record points.
SSL
The address opening with a lock.
Hosting
Where the site actually lives.
A move
The other services stay up.
IN PRACTICE
Keep existing services in view during a move.
One domain may support both a website and email. We review existing DNS records, mail routing and backups alongside the new hosting setup.
Get the starting point clear.
Prepare the names of your domain, hosting and email providers. Do not put passwords in the enquiry form; access sharing is arranged separately.
Can you promise zero downtime?
Zero downtime cannot be guaranteed in every setup. We plan timing, expected effects and rollback options around the existing services.
Say what you need changed, and the provider if you know it. Do not put passwords in the form. The fee is agreed before I touch the domain.
